About Us
We are a family owned, hobby kennel located just outside of Blairsville, PA (originally located near Greensburg, PA) on a 65 acre property that is perfect for raising and training hunting dogs. We acquired our first German shorthair in 2007 and have learned a lot about the breed, training, and breeding sound hunting dogs since then. Our goal is to continue to produce German shorthairs that exhibit the qualities that the breed was created to possess, namely pointing, tracking, retrieving, and swimming. Additionally, we strive to produce dogs with cooperative temperaments that are a joy to live with. Our dogs are used each year to guide upland hunts at a large preserve. Our adult dogs have successfully hunted pheasant, quail, chukar, grouse, duck, groundhog, racoon, fox, and coyote. There is no other dog so versatile as a German shorthair point.
